Saidia Scholar, Ebenezer Vroom is the recipient of the prestigious HUYGENS Scholarship.. He was nominated by the University of Amsterdam. The prestigious HSP Huygens Programme is open to excellent students from all countries. It is aimed at talented students who want to come to the Netherlands in the final phase of their bachelor’s studies or during their master’s studies. The Dutch Minister of Education, Culture and Science has allocated seven million euros for excellent students coming to the Netherlands under the HSP Huygens Programme.
Ebenezer will do his master degree in 2010-2011.

The Hanze University Foundation has donated more the 6.000 euro! (www.hanze.nl)
The Hanze University Foundation was established in 2009-2010 as an independant organisation linked to the Hanze University Groningen, University of Applied Sciences. The foundation is focuess on higher education and students in developing countries.
The foundation will be the dirving force behinf all of the development activities of the university.

This money was donated by personnel and students of the university.

Saidia will be working together with the ADJOA FOUNDATION (www.adjoa.nl) structurally from now on. In the past ADJOA and SAIDIA were closely connected through mutually benefical activities. Our next Saidia student will be involved in ADJOA activities as part of the scholarhip program in The Netherlands, visiting grammar schools and speaking to the students about his or her experience first hand.
